Erin Barkway (Minion & Myles)

Erin (otherwise known as Minion) has been caching since 2011 and is our fundraiser. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa but now can be spotted among the London crowd. Was part of the Cape Town 2016 Mega committee. When she is not out geocaching or at events she can normally be found on the archery line shooting arrows.

Emma "Bunny" Davis

Emma "Bunny" Davis

Emma goes by the nickname Bunny if you see her at an event in person. She has been caching since 2014 and really loves a geocaching event and a souvenir. Always on a mission to get a cache in every new country she visits and has made a start on grabbing the US State souvenirs with 5 in her pocket so far. She enjoys rural caching in the UK, urban caching in the US, her pet rats and talking about film and TV when she's not on social media.

Nick Kropelnicki (-KROP-)

Nick Kropelnicki (-KROP-)

Nick has been caching since 2013 and is the CO of some of the UK’s most favourited caches such as Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge TB Hotel, Gibbon’s Rent and the virtual at Platform 9 3/4. He spends a lot of his time travelling overseas chasing geocaching statistics and recently completed his Triple Jasmer.

Peter Rattenbury-Neate (Goldpot)

Peter Rattenbury-Neate (Goldpot)

The old man of Geocaching, started in 2005 when it was a cheap hobby, now I have a canoe, ladders, smartphones and expensive holidays to keep ahead of the game. Hosted the London Events for over 10 years, now for something Mega!

Bev Tribe (Hedgepiglet)

Bev Tribe (Hedgepiglet)

Bev started caching in 2010. She can often be found in the woods, even sometimes up in the trees looking for Terrain 5 caches, or travelling far and wide to find caches around the world. Bev also has a strong environmental ethos, running many CITO events to keep the places we go caching in clean.

Tony Turner (TurnyT)

Tony Turner (TurnyT)

Tony is a cacher of a certain age who no longer is able to do T5’s etc but still does what he can. His main claim to fame is holding the most Northerly event in the world, attended by another cacher apart from one of his family.

Mascot

HOT is our trackable flag and is also the basis of our event logo. The flag is the Greater London flag and as you can see appears in most of our team photos. To say the flag is well travelled is an understatement. Its first trip was to Croatia, quickly followed by Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania. After that it seems to have developed a wanderlust and has been diving with sharks in Belize and got close to the North Pole (This was when it said hello to the most Northerly bust of Lenin in the World). So far it has travelled over 175000 miles and it still has the urge to travel further. It will be there to greet you at the London Calling 2021 event so don’t forget to say hello to it and discover it.
